Time For A New Watch | New Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Collection

We are only at the start of 2021, yet Omega are making one of the biggest watchmaking announcements of the year. We are here to talk about the new arrivals of the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Collection!
 
The much-loved Moonwatch is now a master chronometer with powerful new features and improvements. The redesign of the Omega Moonwatch has been inspired by the 4th generation MoonWatch style, also referenced as the ST 105.012.

The new design includes improvements reaching new levels of resistance. The new Co-axial Master Chronometer Calibre ensures the watch is unaffected by even the most extreme magnetic fields reaching 15,0000 gausses. Amongst the movements many advantages are the use of non-ferrous materials, such as the Si14 balancing spring which keeps the heart of the watch under maximum protection at all times.

With the incredible new improvements of the Calibre 3861, the new Speedmaster Moonwatch is now master chronometer certified, guaranteeing the highest precision and performance.

More subtle improvements can be found on the Moonwatch’s new minute track, with each second being split by 3 divisions in accordance with the new calibre 3861’s frequency, proving Omega’s high standards with precision.

Omega has integrated a fully brushed bracelet with a five-arched-links-per-row design. The watch also has a new clasp, featuring a polished OMEGA logo on a satin-finished cover. Beautifully refined with a width of 15mm which also includes two polished pushers in a new oval shape.
